Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Tampa

Every year, players and coaches visit the local Shriners Hospitals for Children® during game week to meet the patients and gain a greater understanding of the importance of the game. During the inspirational and humbling visit, the teams experience a day they will never forget. Whether dancing to music, playing games or simply sharing stories with one another, the instant friendships that form between the patients and players are a testament to our motto of being more than just a game.

Team Practices

With over 300 NFL scouts and agents in attendance, the East-West Shrine Game® is a launch pad for top college players seeking to play at the professional level. Team practices are an important part of the game-week experience. The general public is welcome to attend practices; bleacher seating is available. Credentials are required for field access; no exceptions.

Silent Auction benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children

Walk down the aisles of the East-West Shrine Game's Silent Auction and you will find many exciting items! We offer a variety of vacation packages, autographed memorabilia, and much more, all to support a great cause.

Players'/Hall of Fame Banquet

Friday, January 19
Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Cocktail party begins at 5:30 p.m.; banquet begins at 6:30 p.m.

Join us Friday evening at the Players’/Hall of Fame Awards Banquet to meet and celebrate the best of college and professional football, with more than 100 of the nation’s top college all-star players, current NFL coaches, our NFL alumni, and Hall of Fame inductees. As a part of the festivities during the Players/Hall of Fame Awards Banquet, Brett Favre, Willie Roaf and Gary Huff will be inducted to the East-West Shrine Game Hall of Fame. Guests enjoy a three-course dinner, following a social cocktail hour. The evening’s festivities include the presentation of our all-star college players, NFL team coaches, the East-West Shrine Game Pat Tillman Award, and the 2018 East-West Shrine Game Hall of Fame inductees. You will also have the opportunity to meet our biggest heroes, our Shriners Hospitals for Children patients, including Shriners Hospitals for Children’s 2017–2018 National Patient Ambassadors, Emily Mellish and Isabella Rose. Aspiring sports broadcaster and Chicago Shriners Hospitals for Children patient, Alec Cabacungan, will also be in attendance, celebrating this special evening for Shriners Hospitals for Children and the East-West Shrine Game.
