NFL Coaches, Player Personnel and College All-stars headed to St. Petersburg, Florida

The East-West Shrine Game will be played for a seventh year at Tropicana Field in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network with live game coverage beginning at 3 p.m. (EST).

Premier NFL coaches and top college players from across the US and Canada will travel to St. Pete Beach, a top international travel destination, and lodge at the official host hotel, TradeWinds Island Grand Resorts. Situated on a sun-drenched peninsula separating the Gulf of Mexico from Tampa Bay, St. Pete/Clearwater is the most popular destination on the Gulf of Mexico with 35 miles of white-sand beaches. The New York Times listed St. Pete in its ranking of Top 52 Best Places to Visit, and TripAdvisor named St. Pete Beach No. 3 in the U.S. in 2017.

Teams will be joined by over 300 NFL scouts, team personnel and agents during the week to begin player assessment and interviews in preparation for the 2018 NFL Draft and post-draft player recruitment.

Game fans from across the world are welcome to join the experience in St. Pete/Clearwater, Fla. Come watch our all-star players train for professional teams with current NFL coaches and staff, see top NFL scouts in action grading players and assessing their skills, and learn why the NFL is packed with more than 300 former East-West Shrine Game players each year.

Friday evening, join us at the Players’/Hall of Fame Banquet to meet and celebrate the best of college football, our NFL alumni, 2018 Hall of Fame inductees, Shriners Hospitals for Children patients and national patient ambassadors. Guests dine on the field, enjoying a three-course dinner, following the cocktail hour.

Saturday morning, take the complimentary shuttle bus from the TradeWinds to Tropicana Field at 11 a.m. where our Pre-game Party will be kicking-off the day’s festivities. Enjoy snacks and beverages provided by Shriners and local community partners, music and more! Gates will open at 1 p.m., and tickets can be purchased in advance online or on game day at Tropicana Field Box Offices for $15 per person (see Game Tickets). Kick-off is at 3:07 p.m. (EST), with live game coverage on NFL Network, so be sure and wave to friends and family while you cheer for East-West Shrine Game all-stars and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
